Philips 107S Similar in operation and functionality to the 107B, this monitor sports a significantly lower bandwidth of 108 MHz, resulting in support for resolutions only up to 1280x1024. Among the screen controls supported by the monitor are pin balance, raster rotation, trapezoidal and pincushion adjustment, besides the standard raster position and size. These parameters are accessed through an intuitive OSD that also lets the user recall any of the factory preset modes. The images produced in the convergence tests were of acceptable quality except for two slightly blurred areas in the corners that could be corrected using the screen controls. No audible noise was produced in switching over from the text to graphical mode. This monitor delivers acceptable performance and is suited to the home and the office where very high resolution is not required. |
